Government Urged to Account for National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving Expenditures

Apostle John Erezola, a minister, social commentator, and CEO of Gilgal School of the Bible, has called on the government to provide transparency on the expenditures and source of funding for the recent National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving.

The occasion, themed "Reset, Reflect and Renew the National Prosperity," was observed on July 1, 2025.

Apostle Erezola emphasized the importance of accountability, urging the government to disclose how funds were utilized during the event. He stressed that transparency is essential in ensuring that public resources are managed effectively.

The cleric also encouraged Ghanaians to reflect on their actions and reset their minds from negative to positive. He cautioned against engaging in corrupt practices, such as bribery, which can undermine the impact of prayers and hinder national progress.

Apostle Erezola's call for accountability and transparency highlights the need for integrity in governance. By being open and honest about public expenditures, the government can build trust with citizens and promote a culture of accountability.
