The Kandit Standard School in Bibiani has made a significant contribution to the Bibiani Municipal Hospital, donating 20,000 pieces of disposable aprons.

These aprons are essential personal protective equipment (PPE) for healthcare workers, providing protection against infectious agents, blood, and bodily fluids. Mr. Kennedy Donkor, the Proprietor of the school, said this donation reflects Kandit Standard School's commitment to giving back to the community and supporting the healthcare sector in Bibiani.

He added that the disposable aprons will help prevent the spread of infections within the hospital, ensuring a safer environment for patients and healthcare workers.

Mrs Ophelia Terkper, the Bibiani Government Hospital the Acting Deputy Director for Nursing Services (DDNS) who received the items on behalf of the hospital, thanked the school authorities for the kind gesture and appealed to other philanthropists to emulate Kandit Standard School's example.
