The Queen Mother of Sefwi Kanchiabo, Nana Afua Adomah II, has called on the youth in the community to abandon indecent lifestyles and focus on building a better and more productive future.
Speaking during her outdooring ceremony attended by youth groups, traditional leaders, and community members, Nana Afua Adomah II expressed deep concern over the increasing rate of negative behaviors among young people. According to her, practices such as substance abuse, promiscuity, and indiscipline are gradually destroying the moral values that have long guided the Sefwi Kanchiabo community.
She emphasized the need for traditional authorities, parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to work together in guiding the younger generation onto positive paths. Nana Afua Adomah II noted that without discipline, purpose, and proper direction, many young people could lose opportunities that would help them achieve economic independence and personal success.

According to her, dressing in line with customary values sends a strong message about identity, respect, and pride in one’s heritage. She encouraged leaders and elders to continue wearing traditional attire during public gatherings to serve as role models for the younger generation.
