Strong winds have recently ravaged Bredi D/A Primary School in the Atwima Mponuah district of the Ashanti Region, ripping off the roof and destroying over 33 asbestos sheets.

This has forced students to learn outdoors, often under trees or in overcrowded classrooms during the rainy season.

Residents expressed concern about the impact on students' learning, saying, "Our children have been learning under trees since the roof was blown away.During rains, they cram into few available classrooms, affecting their learning.

They appealed to well-wishers for assistance to restore proper learning conditions before the school reopens.

The school's outdated infrastructure is in dire need of repair.

The community hopes for timely support to ensure students can continue their education in a safe and conducive environment.

Nana Kwaku Gyamfi, Acting Bredi Chief, expressed deep concern about the lack of social amenities, including clean water, mobile networks, healthcare facilities, and road networks.

He urged the government, Member of Parliament, and District Chief Executive to address these issues urgently.

The community is calling on the government, individuals, and philanthropists to provide essential support, including school buildings, desks, mobile network coverage, and clean water, to create a vibrant and sustainable environment for its residents.
