NDC DEMANDS IMMEDIATE CANCELLATION OF ALL CONTRACT BETWEEN SML AND GRA  

The National Democratic Congress NDC demand the immediate termination of all contracts between SML and the GRA.

The party also called on government led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo to retrieve all payments made by the government to SML under the illegal agreements which have occasioned a huge financial loss to the stated.

Addressing the media on issues related to SML and GRA, Sammy Gymfi, the national communications officer of NDC stated that when elected into office, they will launch credible and transparent investigations into SML scandal to retrieve for the state, all illegal payments made to SML and ensuring prosecuting all persons who are complicit.

During the press conference, Sammy Gymfi pledged that the Next NDC government will not recognize the illegal contracts between governing Ghana SML, upon assumption of office in the year 2025.

You may recall there was an investigation work carried out by Manasseh Azure Awuni and his colleagues at the Fourth Estate. The underhand dealing between the GRA and SML have been unmasked. 

This expose, coupled with mounting calls from the NDC minority in parliament, NGOs and other well-meaning Ghanaians for an investigation, President Akufo-Addo tasked KPMG to conduct an audit into SML’s dealing with the GRA.
