The Treasurer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency, Mr. Charles Assuah, has clarified that individuals above the age of 40 are not eligible to contest for the position of Polling Station Youth Organizer in the party's upcoming internal elections.

According to Mr. Assuah, the constitutional provisions of the NPP clearly stipulate the age requirements for persons seeking to occupy youth-related positions within the party. He emphasized that the role of Youth Organizer is specifically reserved for younger members who fall within the constitutionally mandated age bracket.

Speaking in an interview, Mr. Assuah urged all prospective aspirants to carefully study the party's constitution and ensure they meet all eligibility requirements before filing their nominations.

"The position of Polling Station Youth Organizer is meant for the youth wing of our party. Therefore, anyone above 40 years does not qualify to contest for that office. It is important for all aspirants to respect and abide by the rules governing our internal elections," he stated.

He further encouraged party members to uphold discipline, unity, and transparency throughout the electioneering process, stressing that adherence to the party's constitutional guidelines would help ensure a peaceful and credible election.

Mr. Assuah also called on constituency executives, electoral committees, and polling station members to strictly enforce the laid-down regulations to avoid unnecessary disputes and misunderstandings.

As the NPP prepares for its polling station elections across the country, party faithful in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency have been advised to prioritize competence, loyalty, and dedication in selecting their leaders.
