Campaign Decently and Avoid Insults – Alhaji Ben Ali Seaman to NPP Aspirants

The Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Council of Patrons in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency, Alhaji Ben Ali Seaman, has advised aspirants seeking election as Polling Station Executives to conduct their campaigns in a peaceful and respectful manner.

According to him, internal party elections should be characterized by unity, mutual respect, and issue-based campaigning rather than insults and personal attacks.

Alhaji Ben Ali Seaman gave this advice following the successful conclusion of the NPP Polling Station Executive vetting exercise for aspirants in the Sefwi Anhwiaso Zone.

Speaking after the exercise, he expressed gratitude to Allah for guiding the committee through a smooth and successful vetting process.

"As Chairman of the Anhwiaso Zone Vetting Committee, I thank Allah for a successful exercise. Indeed, all the aspirants demonstrated seriousness, commitment, and a strong desire to serve the party and help us recapture power in 2028," he stated.

He urged all aspirants to focus on presenting their vision and plans to delegates and party members rather than resorting to unnecessary attacks on their opponents.

"Go out there and campaign vigorously, but do so with respect. Avoid insults and divisive comments. At the end of the day, we are all members of one political family, and our ultimate goal is to strengthen the NPP," he emphasized.

Several aspirants who participated in the vetting also shared their motivations for seeking office, stressing their determination to rebuild the party at the grassroots and work tirelessly towards victory in the 2028 general elections.

They noted that the outcome of the 2024 elections served as a wake-up call, and they are committed to ensuring that the party returns stronger and more united.

"We cannot afford to remain passive after what happened in the 2024 general elections. If elected, we will work tirelessly to reorganize the party, mobilize support, and reclaim our parliamentary seat from the NDC," one aspirant stated.

The aspirants further expressed confidence that with dedication, effective grassroots mobilization, and unity, the NPP would successfully return to power and reclaim lost electoral grounds in the constituency.

The successful vetting exercise marks an important step in the party's reorganization efforts as it prepares for future electoral contests. Party faithful remain optimistic that the upcoming internal elections will produce competent leaders capable of steering the NPP back to victory.
