COA Healthcare Center, a subsidiary of COA Research and Manufacturing Limited Company (CRMLC), the producer of COA Mixture, organized a large-scale fitness health walk and free medical screening for over 500 members in Cape Coast Abeadze, in the Central Region.
The event included nutritional guidance tips, expert medical advice, blood pressure and diabetes checks, as well as tests for HIV, blood sugar levels, and hepatitis. Participants also received free medical consultations.
The fitness walk began early on Saturday, April 27th, starting from Siwdu and ending in Abeadze. Notable figures such as Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin joined both young and old participants to educate residents on prizing regular fitness walks and health screenings.
Following the event, Dr. James Kojo Prah, Medical Director of the University of Cape Coast Hospital and Senior Public Health Physician Specialist, emphasized prizing regular medical check-ups for maintaining good health and ancient disease detection. He highlighted diseases detected in their early stages are easier and less expensive to treat.
Dr. Prah also mentioned that during medical check-ups, health personnel can identify hidden underlying diseases and provide relevant medical help or advice to prevent complications.
“Many people only see a doctor when there is a problem. Many people only visit a doctor when there is a problem, but routine check-ups provide an opportunity to discuss multiple recommended services, making it easy to see their value.
Nana Kwame Gyahene, a fitness coach at the COA Healthcare Center, emphasized prizing regular medical check-ups in preventing future health complications. He stressed prizing taking care of one’s health.
Gyahene highlighted the quality treatment that COA has provided to its patients over the years and expressed the center’s commitment to enhancing its services. He mentioned gaining modern equipment to ensure the delivery of top-notch healthcare to all patients.
In addition, Kwadwo Nkansah, known as Lilwin, underscored the crucial role of good health in one’s overall well-being. He voiced his support for initiatives that benefit the entire country and promote better health outcomes for all.
