Ghana @67: Bibiani Presbyterian JHS Wins Inter-Schools INDEFEST Quiz Competition

The Bibiani Presbyterian Junior High School (JHS) won the Bibiani GES and Mensin Gold INDEFEST quiz competition for some selected schools within the Bibiani zone

They beat both Bibiani MGBL and ST. Mary’s Prepartary & JHS to emerge the winner of the quiz competition.

The scope of the competition centered on the articles in the 1992 Constitution of Ghana and Bibiani Mensin Gold Limited as part of efforts to let the students know their civic rights and responsibilities as citizens.

Presbyterian JHS scored 48 points to emerge the winner, MGBL came second with 46 points, and St Mary’s JHS also placed third with 44 points.

Mr Seth Amoah, the lead quizmaster at the Bibiani Presbyterian JHS, expressed delight for leading the school to win the contest after days of preparation.

Lawyer Emmanuel Aidoo, the Sustainability Manager Mensin Gold Limited, encouraged the students to take their studies in order to get scholarships to further their studies and brighten their future.

His mention emphasized that education is the sole tool for developing the enchantment around Communities Bibiani.

According to Mensin Gold, Bibiani has sponsored him, 134 tertiary students Limited, with 34 of them having completed their courses.

Seizing the opportunity, he congratulated the winners for the good job done.

Mr Emmanuel Frimpong, the municipal finance and administrator of GES on his part, advised parents and guardians to invest in their children’s education instead of lavishing money on buying unprofitable materials that will not have any future benefit to society.

According to him, children will play important roles in the future if given excellent education.

Stating his reason, he said educating children is very key and integral if the country wants to achieve development and rub shoulders with her counterparts on the global stage.

He used the opportunity to thank Mensin Gold Bibiani Limited for sponsoring the program.
