SPORTS UPDATE: FC SAMARTEX LADIES TEAM LAUNCHED

Samartex has launched its ladies’ team for participation in the Western Region Division One League.

The event, which included a fundraising programme, took place at the Management Club House and was graced by prominent personalities from Wassa Amenfi.

Speaking at the launch, the President of FC Samartex, Dr. Richard Duah Nsenkyire, expressed great confidence in the potential of the ladies’ team, envisioning many members representing the Black Queens soon.

“I can promise that, looking at the performance they showed during the Takoradi tour, these players will be the future of the Ghana Football, and soon they will be playing for the Black Queens.”

Dr. Nsenkyire also outlined various developmental projects to support the team, including improving facilities such as hostel accommodations, additional pitches, and a stadium.

“We have a lot of projects to be undertaken for the Ladies team, including hospital.
