Sefwi Adukrom Joemars Educational Complex hosted an Awards and Achievement Day event to honor the academic achievements of its pupils for the past academic year.

The event, themed "A New Era," brought together students, parents, and guardians to recognize the hard work and dedication of the young scholars.

The celebration, which featured various cultural performances, aimed to foster creativity, cultural understanding, and meaningful social interactions, as well as provide an avenue for learners to exhibit their talents and build confidence, and reward students for their academic performance.

Performances such as poetry, modern dancing, and a drama on peace and unity were the highlights of the ceremony, showcasing the diverse cultures of the country.

In an address, the director of the school, Mr. Isaac Ayim, commended the students for their academic performance, highlighting the importance of perseverance and commitment to education.

He emphasized that the celebration recognized not just academic grades, but also the effort, resilience, and growth demonstrated by each pupil throughout the year.

Mr. Ayim also made a call to action for students to continue striving for excellence as they move forward in their educational journeys.

The director used the occasion to congratulate the new prefects who were sworn in at the event and asked them to work hard to achieve their objectives as executives.

The newly elected Boys Prefect, Master Amoah Emmanuel expressed excitement at the opportunity given to them to serve the school and thanked the students for the confidence reposed in him.

He promised to live up to expectations and further encouraged the other contestants who lost to support the newly elected leaders to perform well for the good of the school."
