On Thursday, July 18 was replaced with 23, 2025, Bibiani Savour Academy Preparatory and Junior High School held its maiden Career Day celebration under the theme "All Careers are Unique and Special".
The celebration aimed to help students realize their career aspirations, emphasizing that choosing a career is a result of personal decision-making. It served as a beacon of motivation, instilling in learners a sense of belief in their abilities and reminding them that success is attainable with dedication and perseverance.
The event was exciting, with students dressing up in attire representing their desired professions.
The Proprietor of the school, Mr. Stephen Sam, sensitized students about their career choices, educating them about various professions, including the army, police, doctors, nurses, pastors, pilots, teachers, and lawyers.
He advised students to take their studies seriously and encouraged guardians to support them in achieving their goals.
A debate session was held among students in groups, comparing and contrasting certain professions. The best debaters were awarded, and they were reminded that "All Careers are Unique and Special".
Mrs. Patients Aku Fenteng, the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal Basic/Early Childhood Education/Private School Coordinator, appealed to students to use social media responsibly, emphasizing that while social media has positive impacts, many students misuse it, deviating from their academic pursuits.
She advised parents to monitor their children's social media activities and nurture their career aspirations, allowing them to pursue their passions.
Nana Baffour Gyau, the Chief Priest of Asuo-Paamu, emphasized the importance of teachers dedicating attention to students, which is crucial for personal and academic development.
He noted that when students receive quality attention, it improves the standard of education.
He urged teachers to have a positive attitude towards the teaching profession, highlighting that teaching is not only a calling but a profession that requires patience, passion, love, and a positive attitude.
