Community Philanthropist Supports Needy Pupils at Nzemankwanta M/A Basic School
A philanthropist and native of Sefwi Akaaso in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region, Mr. Issac Anyimah, popularly known as “Director,” has donated school uniforms to pupils of Nzemankwanta M/A Basic School to support teaching and learning.
The donation forms part of his efforts to assist less privileged children within the municipality and encourage education in rural communities.
Speaking to the media after presenting the uniforms, Mr. Anyimah said he was touched by the poor condition of the uniforms worn by many of the pupils when he visited the school some time ago. According to him, the situation motivated him to come to the aid of the children.
“I visited the school and realized that many of the pupils were struggling with torn and worn-out uniforms. It really touched my heart, and I promised myself to support them in any small way I could,” he stated.
He noted that education remains one of the most important tools for the development of every child and urged individuals who are financially capable to support schools and needy students within their communities.
Mr. Anyimah further encouraged the pupils to take their studies seriously and remain disciplined in order to achieve their future ambitions.
Receiving the items on behalf of the school, the Headmistress of Nzemankwanta M/A Basic School, Madam Florence Agoboli, expressed profound gratitude to Mr. Anyimah for his kind gesture.
She described the donation as timely and beneficial to many parents who are unable to provide new uniforms for their children due to financial challenges.
Madam Agoboli used the opportunity to pray for God’s blessings upon Mr. Anyimah for remembering the school and supporting the pupils.
She also appealed to natives and residents of Nzemankwanta who are living in the cities and other parts of the country to emulate the example of Mr. Anyimah by returning home to support development in the community, especially in the education sector.
According to her, such support would go a long way to improve the welfare of the pupils and promote quality education in the area.
