Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency MP Files Nomination To Seek For Second Term

The Member of Parliament for Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency in the Western North Region, Honourable Alfred Obeng Boateng has filled his nomination forms to seek for second term in office.

The nomination form was filed on behalf of the MP by Mr Emmanuel Adjei Beyese, Mr Gordon Oppong, accompanied by some delegates and card bearing members of the party.

Receiving the nomination forms,Mr. Joseph Halifax Amandeh, the secretary of the election Committee and the Constituency chairman Mr. Kwame Asamoah urged the incumbent MP and his supporters to conduct a clean campaign ahead of the January 27 Parliamentary Primaries.

Another Aspirant, the son of the former Constituency Chairman Dr.Emmanuel Borkor Nuako, has also filed his nomination form to contest the incumbent MP.

In the 2020 general elections, Honourable Alfred Obeng Boateng defeated the then Western North Regional Minister, garnering more than 75% of the total votes cast.He proceeded to win the 2020 Parliamentary elections with a 17591 vote margin.
