The Chief Priest of Asuo Paamu in the Atwima Mponua District of the Ashanti Region, Nana Baffour Gyau, has called on Ghanaians to support their traditional leaders as a means of promoting peace, unity, and development in their communities.

Nana Baffour Gyau made the call during the coronation ceremony of Nana Ahenkrosei Amaniampong, the newly enstooled chief of Asherisu. He emphasized that the progress and development of communities largely depend on the respect, cooperation, and support given to traditional authorities by residents and citizens at large.

According to him, chiefs play a vital role in uniting their people, preserving culture, and championing development initiatives. He therefore urged residents of Asherisu to show respect and loyalty to Nana Ahenkrosei Amaniampong, stressing that unity between the chief and the people would help accelerate development in the area.

The Chief Priest also appealed to Ghanaians to take environmental cleanliness seriously, noting that a clean environment encourages peace, good health, and spiritual harmony. He explained that maintaining a clean and healthy environment creates an atmosphere that attracts positive spiritual forces and blessings to the community.

Nana Baffour Gyau further called on residents to uphold cultural values, live peacefully with one another, and support traditional practices that promote discipline and communal responsibility.

He concluded by blessing the new chief and expressing hope that Nana Ahenkrosei Amaniampong’s reign would bring progress, unity, and prosperity to the people of Asherisu and the surrounding communities.
