Bibiani Presby Holds Thanksgiving Service For Fashion Designers

Bibiani Grace Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana has organised a thanksgiving service for fashion designers within Bibiani and its environs.

The service was on the theme: “Oh Lord, Thanks For Your Protection.”

In an interview with Stylish Radio staff Okyeame Kofi Mensah, Reverend Michael Amoah said they did the service to paise God for protecting the fashion designers throughout the year.

He noted that fashion designers are responsible for designing the clothes people wear every day, whether at work, school, home or social events. These professionals use creativity, research and sewing skills to develop unique, innovative ideas for attire and accessories. 

He said if you enjoy expressing yourself through fashion, a job as a fashion designer could be perfect for you.

He therefore advised them to attend fashion shows and other industry events to market designs and brands.

Some members of dressmakers who attended the program explained that tailors and seamstresses play a critical role in human development as almost everyone depends on them for their clothing.

They thanked the Presbyterian Church for such program and asked government to institute some sort of recognition for the Tailors, giving their essential role they played in society.
