A/R : Aspiring Parliamentary Candidates Pledge To Empower Youths And Women
An Aspiring New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidates for the Manso Adubia Constituency Hon. Seth Gyimah has pledged to empower youths and women in the area once delegates elected him to lead the party and to become a Member of Parliament (MP).
Speaking with Bibianinews.com, he said women and youths were important to national development and he would empower them if he was adopted and elected as Manso MP.
He explained that some women in the Constituency were going for their education to various schools just like men, but they were marginalised in most cases.
“We are talking about equality here. Women who are qualified should be allowed to do their job and they should not just end as sympathisers.
“Some many women in Manso Adubia constituency are qualified, but they have never been given an opportunity. Constituents who qualify irrespective of genders should be given an opportunity to participate in national matters,” He said.
He pledged to upgrade infrastructure and Township roads in Manso Adubia constituency to improve the leaving stranded.
