Hwenampori M/A Basic School Food Vendors Commend Alex Donkor for Providing Selling Structure

BIBIANI, Western North Region — Food vendors at Hwenampori M/A Basic School have commended Mr Alex Donkor for his intervention to provide them with a structure to improve their working conditions and protect them from harsh weather while selling food to pupils.

The vendors expressed their appreciation, explaining that they previously had to sit under the scorching sun to sell their food items. They added that rainfall often disrupted their business activities, making it difficult for them to sell food to pupils and other members of the school community.

According to the vendors, the provision of the structure will ease their challenges, provide shelter from the weather and create a more convenient environment for their daily activities.

Speaking about the intervention, Mr Alex Donkor described it as part of his philanthropic efforts to support community development and improve the welfare of people in need.

He emphasised that development should not be left to the government alone, noting that individuals and other stakeholders also have a responsibility to contribute to improving conditions in their communities.

The intervention is expected to provide relief to the food vendors and enable them to conduct their businesses in a more comfortable environment while serving the school community.
