GOVERNMENT URGED TO CONSIDER RECRUITING SDA YOUTH INTO SECURITY
The Nzrawora District youth of the Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) Church in the Aketenbra District of the Western North Region observed their Annual District Campout at the church premises in Nzrawora. The annual youth campout aims to prepare the youth for the church's yearly camp meeting.
Speaking at the event, the Nzrawora District youth leader, Master Guard Adasah Nkrumah Caleb, called on the government of Ghana and stakeholders involved in recruiting security personnel to consider recruiting SDA youth. He cited their training to standards of security personnel and the church's emphasis on producing God-fearing individuals who can contribute to nation-building.
The deputy District youth leader, Master Guard Seth Amoah, highlighted the importance of youth coming together to focus on and promote God's work. He noted that such occasions improve youth physically, spiritually, and mentally.
Finally, the Nzrawora District Pastor, Pastor Michael Amankwaa, advised the youth to abstain from behaviors that draw them away from Christ.
