W/N/R: IF GHANA IS TRULY A CHRISTIAN COUNTRY, ILLEGAL MINING MUST STOP
Illegal mining (galamsey) has been a significant challenge to Ghana's development.
To address this issue, the government and stakeholders have implemented various strategies to eradicate such activities.
In line with this effort, Prophet Moses Oppong, Acting District Pastor of Precious New True Faith Church International in the Western North Region, has called on Ghanaians involved in illegal mining to cease the practice.
He emphasized that God gave Ghana's natural resources as a gift, and it's essential to protect them.
As a Christian nation, Ghana should prioritize environmental conservation and responsible resource management.
Prophet Moses Oppong urged the government to remain resolute in their fight against galamsey until the mission is accomplished. He also encouraged fellow ministers of God to discuss the issue in their churches, highlighting the need to protect the environment.
Prophet Moses Oppong made these remarks during an interview with Osomafo Kwame Owusu Tikese3 following the conclusion of their one-week monthly prayers at Bopa Nkwanta in the Akontonbra District of the Western North Region.
