An aspiring Women’s Organizer for the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency of the New Patriotic Party, Helina Diab, has emphasized the need for vibrant, hardworking, and committed youth to help the party recapture the constituency’s parliamentary seat in the 2028 general elections.

Speaking to the media after what she described as a successful NPP polling station executive election held at Subrinkwanta, Lawyer Helina Diab stated that the active participation of young people in the internal elections is a strong indication that the party’s grassroots base remains energized and determined to reorganize for victory.

According to her, the youth remain the future of the NPP and must be given opportunities to contribute meaningfully toward rebuilding and strengthening the party at all levels.

“The NPP needs vibrant and energetic youth to help us recapture the parliamentary seat in 2028 because the youth are the future leaders of the party,” she stated.

Lawyer Diab noted that the large turnout during the polling station elections reflects growing interest among young people who are ready to take up leadership positions and work tirelessly for the progress of the party.

She explained that many young supporters of the NPP became disappointed after the 2024 general elections but are now regrouping and showing renewed commitment toward the party’s future.

According to her, many Ghanaians, particularly the youth, voted for the National Democratic Congress during the 2024 elections because they believed the party would improve their living conditions and create employment opportunities.

However, she claimed that the current administration under President John Dramani Mahama has failed to meet the expectations of many young people.

Lawyer Diab argued that unemployment among the youth continues to increase despite promises made by the NDC government before the elections.

“Many young people believed in the promises made by the NDC, but today the unemployment situation is still affecting the youth. A lot of young people are struggling to find jobs and improve their lives,” she said.

She stressed that the NPP remains the best political alternative capable of creating opportunities for the youth, improving infrastructure, and accelerating development within the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency and the country as a whole.

The aspiring Women’s Organizer further called on party members to remain united and avoid internal divisions that could weaken the party ahead of the 2028 elections.

According to her, unity, discipline, grassroots mobilization, and active youth participation will play a crucial role in helping the NPP regain political power in the constituency.

She also encouraged more women and young people to actively participate in politics and contest leadership positions within the party to help bring fresh ideas and energy into the NPP’s organizational structure.

Lawyer Helina Diab expressed confidence that with dedicated leadership, effective grassroots campaigning, and strong support from party faithful, the NPP can successfully reclaim the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai parliamentary seat in the next general elections.

She finally appealed to delegates and party supporters to elect competent and committed executives who can unite the grassroots, mobilize supporters, and position the party strongly for victory in 2028.
