We Want a Humble, Respectful and Forgiving Leader for the Next NDC Parliamentary Race – Sir Coke
A member of the NDC Communications Team in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency, Charles Obeng, popularly known as Sir Coke, has called on party delegates to elect a humble, respectful, and forgiving candidate to lead the party into the next parliamentary elections.
Speaking on Stylish Radio’s Morning Show hosted by Hamza Mohammed, Sir Coke stressed that the choice of candidate in the upcoming parliamentary primaries would be crucial to the party’s chances in the 2028 general elections.
According to him, the political contest ahead is expected to be highly competitive, particularly in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency, and the party must therefore select a candidate who can unite members and work effectively with the constituency executives.
“Looking at the current political situation, the 2028 general election will not be easy, especially in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency,” he said.
He emphasised that the party needs a leader who possesses strong interpersonal qualities and a unifying spirit.
“Hamza, we want someone who is humble, respectful, and has a forgiving spirit to work with the constituency executives,” Sir Coke added.
He noted that such leadership qualities would help promote unity, reduce internal tensions, and strengthen the party’s base ahead of the elections.
Sir Coke therefore appealed to delegates to carefully consider the character, attitude, and leadership style of aspirants before casting their votes during the parliamentary primaries.
He expressed optimism that with the right candidate, the party would stand a strong chance of retaining or winning the parliamentary seat in 2028.
