NDC Communicators and Serial Callers Feel Neglected After Victory – Sir Coke Speaks on Stylish Radio
A member of the NDC Communications Team in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency, Charles Obeng, popularly known as Sir Coke, has expressed concerns over what he describes as the neglect of party communicators and serial callers after the party’s electoral victory.
Speaking on Stylish Radio’s Morning Show hosted by Hamza Mohammed, Sir Coke, who also serves as the Deputy Dean of Communicators for the constituency, stated that many grassroots communicators and serial callers worked tirelessly to ensure the party’s success, particularly in securing the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai parliamentary seat.
According to him, communicators and serial callers played a crucial role in defending the party on radio platforms, mobilising support at the grassroots level, and campaigning vigorously ahead of the elections. However, he claimed that since the party assumed power, many of these loyal members feel sidelined.
Sir Coke alleged that while communicators and serial callers continue to struggle, some individuals are allegedly enjoying the benefits of power, including the acquisition of luxury vehicles and other privileges.
He noted that the growing frustration among party communicators could affect unity if not addressed promptly. Despite the concerns, Sir Coke appealed to aggrieved communicators and serial callers to remain calm and patient.
He reminded them that internal party processes, including upcoming parliamentary primaries, present opportunities for members to make their voices heard and actively shape the future direction of the constituency.
Sir Coke therefore called for unity within the party, urging leadership to engage grassroots communicators and recognise their contributions to the party’s victory.
The discussion has since sparked conversations within political circles in the constituency, with many calling for stronger internal cohesion and improved recognition of grassroots efforts to maintain party stability and progress.
