SOCIAL: NCCE DIRECTOR URGES WOMEN TO AVAIL THEMSELVES FOR VARIOUS POSITIONS

Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal Director of National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), Madam Nneka Opara Martha is calling on women to avail themselves for various positions, achieving this year’s theme for the IWD: Inspire Inclusion.

She further advocated for women to be giving opportunity as men in order to include themselves in nation building and when offered an opportunity, women should grab it whole without fear and harness it to benefit themselves, their community and Ghana at large.

If you (women) reject opportunities, then the inclusion will not materialize, she noted.

Women, also advised upgrading themselves by learning new things, be it trading, nurturing of children, among others.

When giving women the opportunity to serve, provide them with the materials to make their service fruitful and men should not look down on them. Wherever you are, do what you can to support our nation, she added.

If you’re an arrogant single female parent, your wards will mimic that behavior as they grow, leading to negative consequences.

Women advised that we should humble ourselves and focus more on competence and ability to perform, otherwise there will come a time when we will be excluded.
