W/N: “Don’t Allow Politicians To Use You To Achieve Their Political Ends And Later Dump You,” - Youth Advised

Nana Akwasi Ato-Ware II, the chief of Bassengele a farming Community in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region has entreated Ghanaians, the youth,to be wary of politicians who will engage them in Political violence as we are preparing for this years general elections.

Speaking with Bibianinews.com, he said it is important for everybody to know that elections are not about fighting; it is about us deciding who becomes our leader.

“As a youth, you must not allow politicians to use you as tools to cause misunderstanding that could trigger violence in the electioneering,” he said.

Rather, channel your youthful exuberances into activities that would promote peace social cohesion and remain as campaigners of social peace, he said.

He described those who used to insult opponent on WhatsApp platforms as uncivilized and unacceptable, adding that it is the worst form of human rights abuse inimical to human growth and development.

He therefore called on the youth that when the stomach politicians come to you, tell them Ghanaians are peaceful.we don’t like violence. If you are vigilant and you do your work well,I think that we should have very credible elections without problems.
