Sheikh Dr Amen Bonsu, the CEO of Amen Scientific Herbal Hospital who doubles as the National Chairman of the Ghana Muslims Mission (GMM’s) has urged Muslims Community to cooperate for co-existence in the country.
He made the call during the official inauguration of the Ahafo Regional Ghana Muslims Mission branch at Goaso on the Theme “Harmony in Diversity: Building a Peaceful Community Together”.
He said the mission aim is to conscientious members about the need to unite as Muslims despite their various backgrounds in order to develop the Muslim Community.
He added that the mission aspires to become the number one Muslim organization in Africa that seeks to develop people morally, spiritually and intellectually through the provision of education, health and other social infrastructure.
The Omanhene of the Goaso Traditional Area in the Ahafo Region, Nana Akwasi Bosompra, I advised the gathering to desist from displaying motor skills and noise making after returning from Hajj.
“Its not written in the Holy Quran that if you returned from Hajj, you should move around towns, but it’s written that you should stay in the house for the public to come and greet you for blessings,” he added.
The Ahafo Regional Chairman Mallam Zaidan Afrifa Johnson called for unity among all Muslims in the region.
Mallam Zaidan said, “…As Muslims, we serve one God, Allah, we are one people with one religion, Islam, one book, the Holy Quran, as a manual and guide and one prophet, Prophet Mohammed (SAW).
He therefore stressed that “if we unite, we will be able to build more educational, health, and other infrastructure that the Muslim communities require developing and to be able to contribute their quota to national development.”
