The Media,Nananom, Ladies and Gentlemen,I would like to take this great opportunity to comment on some serious issues affecting the New Patriotic Party.
Selecting a running mate lies in the hands of the party’s flag bearer.
Vice president Mahamudu Bawumia is to select a running mate who has what it takes to win power for the NPP.
My piece of advice is looking at how most Ghanaians have lost confidence in our MPs. It will make sense to choose someone from outside the parliament.
I have always said that looking at what is happening on grounds, the right vice-presidential candidate to help the NPP win 2024 election
is Professor Opoku Onyinna, the former Chairman of the Church of Pentecost.
Ladies and Gentlemen, the appointees under President Akufo Addo have not been fair to the grassroot supporters. Those that the appointees have been given contracts to they are not using the money to help grassroot supporters; they are using it for personal gains.
In fact, our grassroot supporters deserve better,it is because of them that is why we are enjoying power today and it is very suicidal to ignore them outright. The government appointees should pick phone calls and listen to the concerns of our grassroot foot soldiers.
Ladies and gentlemen, we live in a world that tolerates equality, every single day whether rich or poor,we all eat and all of us are going to die one day.
We have to be careful how we treat our fellow party members.
We have to learn to tolerate one another and leave behind us all the wicked and bad deeds to destroy others for political power.
A word to a wise is enough.
May the Almighty Allah bless Ghana.
