Today, Opportunity International has engaged its stakeholders sensitisation on how the farmer’s in the association can invest in Small and Medium Enterprise Growth and also how they can practice Mixed Farming in the Agricultural Sector to build a capacity of the small scale enterprise and also to grow up their businesses.

Today, according to the Head of Opportunity International Mr Ebenezer Amakuia Laryea, when he was addressing the people at Methodist Hotel at Enchi in the Western North Region, he emphatically stated that Opportunity International aims to assist its farmers in understanding how to implement new skills in their farming industry.

He elaborated on the idea by stating that they always raise awareness among farmers who are willing to abandon the outdated farming system. Additionally, every year they provide loans to farmers, enabling them to invest in their farms and diversify their activities through Mixed Farming.

Once more, he reiterated their arrival with a group of Agric Personnel, specifically those who have gained expertise and experience in Agric, along with their Extension Officers, to educate and instruct them.

He made it that, off late some people were saying false things which has no root about them that, the opportunity international will be running after you when they give you a loan and you is not true but what they do is, when they issued a load to you and don’t make any payments is there that they will be chasing you for their money.

Finally, some of the beneficiaries also added this to it by saying that they are going to put it into practice and also teach other to follow the trench in their farming.
