National House of Chiefs President to Sponsor 10 Sefwi Students at Sefwi Anhwiaso Queens Girls SHS

The President of the National House of Chiefs has announced plans to provide scholarship support to 10 Sefwi natives to enable them to attend Sefwi Anhwiaso Queens Girls Senior High School (SHS).

The initiative, according to the President, is aimed at encouraging more parents within the Sefwi traditional area to enrol their daughters at the school and support the development of quality girls’ education in the area.

He made the announcement during a ceremony held to mark the handover of a newly constructed teachers’ bungalow to Sefwi Anhwiaso Queens Girls SHS, which was donated by Elder Prince Asamoah and his wife, Mrs. Margaret Asamoah, through their company, the Prince Mark Group of Companies.

The scholarship initiative is expected to provide an opportunity for deserving Sefwi students who may otherwise face financial difficulties in accessing secondary education at the school.

The President of the National House of Chiefs stressed the importance of supporting girls’ education, noting that educating young women contributes significantly to the social and economic development of families and communities.

He therefore urged Sefwi parents to take advantage of the establishment of the school and encourage their daughters to pursue their secondary education at Sefwi Anhwiaso Queens Girls SHS.
