The Member of Parliament for Sefwi Akontombra Constituency in the Western North Region, Hon. Alex Djornobuah Tetteh has emphatically stated that the 2024 budget presentation to parliament by Ken Ofori, will however better the life of the ordinary Ghanaian since the Akufo Addo-Bawumia’s administration is doing its possible best to turn the economic downturn and to bring a relief to the country to a state of stability and prosperity among its citizens.

In an interview with Bibianinews.com, Sefwi Bekwai reporter Kwame Kinto-Boateng, Hon. Alex Djornobuah Tetteh explained that the budget has proven that the government can solicit for revenues and to meet the targeted amount of money meant to spearhead the developmental projects and employment programmes that will benefit the teeming youth.He also entreated parliament and Ghanaians to support and approve it.

The Sefwi Akontombra MP stressed that food inflation mostly affected inflationary rate and with the prudent measures and government launching second phase of planting for food and jobs, will make an impact on the agricultural sector and the removal of taxes imposed on importing machines will automatically have a positive influence on the agric sector, which will bring food surplus.
