BIBIANI :Stylish Radio Wins Best Media Award At 39th Farmers Day Celebration

A very reputable media establishment in Western North Region which operates professionally in accordance with the codes, ethics and regulations of the media act, Stylish Radio, 102.1 MHZ has in this year’s farmers day celebration been awarded the best media collaboration entity in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality for their outstanding contribution towards the development of agriculture in Ghana by the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, MoFA in the year under review.

The honor bestowed on the station is a signal of how impressive the media establishment has impacted the municipality, region and the nation as a whole. It is therefore an undeniable fact that the programs and events as well as administrative courtesies are in line with the municipal, region and the nation’s aim.

“Akuafo Kyefa” is a unique program aired on every Friday evening and it’s target is to sensitize the public the need to engage in agriculture, address agriculture related issues, help provide requisite remedies for agric problems and this has gained very much recognition in the region.

39th Farmers Day Celebration

The occasion which took place at Sefwi Dominebo number Two in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality saw the likes of highly ranked members in the department of Agriculture, Chiefs, Officials from the ruling government, farmers and equally recognized stakeholders in the community all applauded Stylish Radio for their unimaginable performances that positively affect the Municipality.

According to the Department of Agriculture, the reception and the kind of recognition Stylish Radio has given to the municipality, especially in respect to Agriculture is unbeatable.

The department therefore congratulated the media station and urged them to continue the good works and expand their tentacles for the benefit of all other municipal.

Mr.Kofi Nsenkyrene, the host of the “Akuafo Kyefa” on behalf of the media house, thanked the Agric department for such recognition.

He used the opportunity to congratulate all award winners and urged the youth to show interest in to Farming.
