BIBIANI: NDC Parliamentary Candidate pledges to build ultra- modern ICT centres across

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Constituency in the Western North Region.

Hon Bright Asamoah Brefo has pledged to build an ultra-modern ICT centres across the Constituency when voted for as Members of Parliament (MP).

He said this is part of his commitment to promote ICT knowledge in the Constituency.

Hon Brefo announced this when he joined hundreds to celebrate the Bibiani Trinity Acamdmy

school’s 20th anniversary at Bibiani as a guest of honour on the theme “Development of Education In Ghana in the Next Decade, the Role of ICT in Private Schools,”.

He described ICT as a technology that allows users to gain direct access to a large amount of information.

He added that ICT can provide learners with opportunity to enrol in courses that are offered elsewhere.

“In addition to the provision of the ICT Centre, I will also build well equipped public library and also create modern plays grounds where activities like this can be held,” he pledged.

“At this juncture, I would like to make a passionate call on parents and guardians here to always be sure to check on your children not only in regard to how well or poorly they do academically, but to look out for them on matters of the relationships they build with people in the academic realm,”.

He also advises parents to monitor their children's movement so that they would not engage in the activities of LGBT+.

Hon Brefo therefore advised the students to take their studies seriously and emulate the discipline and hard work that former students of the school have exhibited.
