Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai: Fawokabra residents appeal to government for social aminities
Residents of Sefwi Fawokabra, a farming community near Bibiani in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region, have expressed their frustration over the lack of essential social amenities, which they say is making life unbearable.
The residents highlighted the absence of basic facilities such as modern educational infrastructure, a Community-Based Health Planning Services (CHPS) compound, market, and good roads. They lamented that the limited amenities available are deteriorating, further worsening their living conditions.
Nana Kwadjo Dwaneye, the Chief of Sefwi Fawokabra, appealed to the government and private entities to step in and provide the necessary social amenities to improve their quality of life. His concerns came to light during a visit by Bibianinews.com's Hamza Mohammed to the community, and he emphasized the urgent need for interventions to address the challenges faced by the residents.
He explained that the lack of social amenities in Fawokabra and surrounding communities makes life difficult for residents. He called on stakeholders to take immediate action to alleviate the hardships in the area.
