A/R: Atwima Mponua District Assembly Hills Gyereso Community For Enhancing Development In the Country
The Authorities at Atwima Mponua District Assembly, led by the District Chief Executive Officer, Hon lsaac Kofi Marfo, has hills the Chiefs and Residents at the Gyereso community in Atwima Mponua District for their commitment to enhance development in the country.
Speaking with Bibianinews.com on behalf of the DCE by Mr Rabbi Otuo Acheampong the Special Aide of the DCE who is the NADMO Director at Atwima Mponua District, he said, the Assembly has appreciated for the beginning project that the Chiefs and the people of Gyereso Community have raised funds,mobilized some supplies and assembled some equipment to start for construction of three(3) unit classroom blocks, computer Lab, Dining Hall, stuff office and others for the community.
Addressing the people during the sod-cutting ceremony of the project, he said, Gyereso is the first community out of 537 communities in the district who has been started the self help development projects agenda which has been introduced by Hon Isaac Kofi Marfo when he was appointed as the District Chief Executive Officer in the district to the communities.
In addition, the elected assembly member for Gyereso Electoral Area, Hon Boakye Yiadom, also outlined his vision towards the development in the community.
He said, he will help to promote Quality Health, Education and other developmental projects for the people in the electoral area.
Nana Kofi Nkwantabisa, who is Kyidomhene of Gyereso’s Traditional Area, also explained the reason behind their agenda by saying ,they don’t wait for the over 80yrs collapsed school building collapse on their children before they take an action.
Nana Nkwantabisa therefore appeals to the government to support the community with some other social amenities like No Ward facility their clinic, No Laboratory at the clinic, Poor Network in the area and many others.
