Apostle Richmond Akwasi Frimpong, founder of the Anointed Grace Prayer Ministry at Kuffour’s Camp, has been arrested together with three other suspects—Yaw “Ny3si3”, Kwasi Donkor, and Beatrice Agyapong—over an alleged attempt to bury a six-month-old baby alive at Abofremu near Bibiani.

According to reports, the incident came to light after residents observed suspicious activities and alerted authorities. During preliminary investigations, a witness, Akwasi Twezor, reportedly discovered the child in distress, leading to swift intervention and rescue.

The disturbing incident has thrown the Abofremu community into shock, with many residents expressing disbelief over the alleged actions and questioning the motive behind them.

Speaking to the media, Nana Yaw Badu, Akyemehene of the expressed concern on behalf of the chiefs and residents, describing the situation as unfortunate and calling for justice to be served.

The suspects are currently in police custody assisting with investigations and are expected to face formal charges.

Meanwhile, members of the community have expressed outrage and are demanding accountability, as well as stronger protection for vulnerable children.
