Accept the Outcome and Unite as One Party — Christopher Addae Urges NPP Faithful
Former Member of Parliament for Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hon. Christopher Addae, has appealed to party members and supporters in the constituency to remain united and peaceful following the party’s presidential primaries.
He made the call after casting his vote in the presidential election at Bibiani, where he urged NPP supporters to accept the outcome of the primaries in good faith, regardless of who emerges as the winner.
According to him, the strength of the party depends largely on its ability to close ranks after internal contests and move forward as one united family.
Hon. Addae emphasized that the presidential primaries are an important democratic exercise meant to deepen internal democracy within the NPP and should not be allowed to create divisions or long-standing resentment among supporters. He noted that once a candidate is elected, it becomes the collective responsibility of all party members to support that candidate for the greater good of the party.
He further encouraged supporters to put the interest of the NPP above personal preferences and individual ambitions, stressing that unity at the constituency level, particularly in Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai, will play a crucial role in securing victory in the upcoming general elections.
Hon. Addae also called on party executives, opinion leaders, and grassroots supporters to promote peace, tolerance, and mutual respect throughout the electoral process, adding that a united and disciplined party would send a strong signal to the electorate and enhance the NPP’s chances of retaining power at the national level.
