Abensisuom Chief and Community Thank Alex Donkor for Supporting D/A Primary School

The Chief of Abensisuom, Nana Kwabena Gyekye II, together with the community elders, and residents, has expressed gratitude to Mr. Alex Donkor for donating educational materials to Abensisuom D/A Primary School.

The donation, made on September 16, 2026, included tables and chairs, pens, books, laptops, a football, and other learning materials to support teaching and learning at the school.

As part of their appreciation, Nana Kwabena Gyekye II led a delegation of community members to Mr. Alex Donkor's residence to thank him personally for his support.

The Chief expressed gratitude to Mr. Donkor for his generosity and commitment to improving education in the community.

Mr. Alex Donkor also expressed happiness at seeing the Chief lead the community to his residence to show appreciation for his contribution to the school.

The donated items are expected to improve classroom conditions, provide pupils with essential learning materials, and introduce them to basic computer skills through the use of laptops. The football will also encourage physical exercise and teamwork among the pupils.

The Chief, Odikro, and community elders have pledged to ensure that the donated items are properly maintained and used for their intended purpose to benefit both current and future pupils.

The community has also called on other individuals and organisations to support schools, particularly those in rural communities, to improve the quality of education.

The people of Abensisuom have thanked Mr. Alex Donkor for his contribution and expressed hope that his gesture will inspire others to support education.
