W/N/R:Bibiani NHIS Manager Cautions Public Against Fraudsters

The Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal Acting Manager for the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) Mr. Kwaku Osei Owusu Adomako has cautioned the public especially residents within the municipality against some imposters collecting people’s cards under the guise of helping them to link to the Ghana Card.

In an interview with Bibianinews.com, he explained you can link your NHIS card code with the Ghana Card with the short code *929# because a time would come whereby you can attend the hospital with the Ghana Card without the NHIS.

He also added that some fraudsters are doing door-to-door mobile renewing of the NHIS, meanwhile,he called on the public to be vigilant of such people because they claim to have rewarded the contract by the NHIS authority, which is false.

He debunked the statement and urged the public to arrest such people and report them to the nearby police station.
