On Saturday, 20th January 2024, the member of Parliament for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency toured the project sites in the Municipality to monitor and evaluate the progress of work, quality, and compliance with specifications in the contract document.
Hwenampori-Chene road was destining the MP and his team, where spot improvement had taken place during the trip. Considering the work done, the MP expressed satisfaction and urged the contractor to expedite the project to meet the schedule.
The MP, however, assured the constituents that he will do everything possible to ensure that they receive their fair share of the national cake. He said would be done in collaboration with other state agencies.
The Member of Parliament and his entourage progressed to Afamu to inspect the bridge construction over the Chene River.
This project is part of the 5.6 km road construction for Adupri-Tanoso and Afamu.The team observed workers were on site working.
Farmers and commuters lauded the MP for taking that bold initiative.They assured him of massive votes during this year’s general elections.
Again, the Anhwiaso E-learning facility and Kojina/Subiri Nkwanta were duly inspected.
The team realized that a tremendous amount of work had been done concerning requirements, standards, and regulations.
Additionally, Wiakyiren and Morno communities were visited to check out the level of the KG block and upper primary block, which were under construction.
The programme reached its crescendo at Awaso where the MP was received and hailed by the residents of the town. According to them, all hopes were lost, but the MP restored their hope in the ruling party.
Routine inspections of the construction process are made to make sure that all materials and procedures comply with the plan and specifications of the project.
