"Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Education Directorate Organizes Send-Off Ceremony for Outgoing Municipal Director of Education"

The Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Education Directorate organized a send-off ceremony on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, for the outgoing Municipal Director for Education, Mr. Abraham Fletcher, who has been upgraded and transferred to the Ahafo Region as the Regional Director for Education.

The occasion was attended by high-profile dignitaries, including clergy members, chiefs, directors of education, and students, at the Wiawso College of Education (WATICO). Speaking to Osomafo Kwame Owusu Tik3se3 of Liberty FM after the occasion, Mr. Abraham Fletcher expressed gratitude to all who supported him and made the occasion memorable.

Mr. Fletcher outlined some initiatives he implemented during his term as Municipal Director for Education, highlighting numerous successes achieved for the municipality. He also offered advice to his successor on how to build upon the progress made.

The Chief of Sefwi Denkyemuasue and the Abisihene for the Sefwi Wiawso Traditional Council, Nana Kwasi Gyabeng II, who sat on behalf of the Omanhene of the Sefwi Wiawso Traditional Area as the chairman of the occasion, applauded Mr. Fletcher's hard work, which has transformed the education sector in the municipality.
