The newly elected Presiding Member for the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal Assembly and Assembly Member for the Bibiani Zongo Electoral Area, Hon. Mohammad Abdalla Adam, has called on residents, especially traders and business owners, to honour their tax obligations to help accelerate development within the municipality.

Speaking in an interview with Bibianinews.com, Hon. Mohammad Abdalla Adam stressed that the small taxes paid by traders and citizens play a vital role in supporting the Assembly’s operations and developmental projects.

According to him, when residents consistently pay their taxes, the Assembly will be able to generate enough Internally Generated Funds (IGF) to improve roads, sanitation, education, health services, and other essential social amenities across the municipality.

He explained that tax payment is not only a legal obligation but also a civic responsibility that contributes directly to the progress and transformation of the area.

“Let us all try and pay our taxes so that the Assembly will get enough money to help develop our municipality. The little amount traders and citizens pay can make a big difference when everyone contributes,” he stated.

Hon. Mohammad Abdalla Adam further assured residents that he, together with other Assembly Members, is fully committed to supporting the Assembly to ensure effective governance, accountability, and development.

He also appealed to the public to cooperate with the Assembly and support initiatives aimed at improving the living conditions of the people in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality.

The Presiding Member expressed optimism that with unity, commitment, and collective support from residents, the municipality would continue to witness significant growth and development in the coming years.
