MCE Inspects Ongoing Development Projects in Sefwi Wiawso Municipality
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Sefwi Wiawso, Hon. Dr. Dominic Gyasi, has embarked on an inspection tour of several ongoing development projects across the municipality, highlighting government’s commitment to improving healthcare and education infrastructure in the area.
During the tour, the MCE showcased the progress of a number of projects, including some legacy projects that had been abandoned since 2016 but have now resumed. The projects inspected included:
Sefwi Kojina – Essamkrom CHIPS Compound – 95% complete
Kwasiaddaekrom KG Block – 60% complete
Pɛwodeɛ 3-Unit Classroom Block – 92% complete
Kɛtɛboi CHIPS Compound
Nyamennaeɛ 3-Unit Classroom Block – 98% complete
Aboduam 6-Unit Classroom Block
Sefwi Wiawso Government Hospital Maternity Block
Hon. Dr. Dominic Gyasi expressed satisfaction with the steady progress of work, particularly the resumption of construction on the long-stalled maternity block at the Sefwi Wiawso Government Hospital. According to him, the Assembly remains fully committed to ensuring the completion of all ongoing projects to enhance healthcare delivery and educational development within the municipality.
Speaking to the media during the inspection tour, the MCE appealed to residents of the municipality to remain patient and continue to trust the government’s development agenda. He assured the people that government is determined to deliver massive infrastructural development projects that will improve the living conditions of residents in Sefwi Wiawso and its surrounding communities.
He further emphasized that the Assembly is working tirelessly to complete all ongoing projects and bring meaningful progress to the municipality.
