The Resident Minister of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Sefwi Bekwai District, Rev. PK Yirenkyi, has urged today's youth to honour and celebrate their fathers while they are alive.

He emphasized that fathers, being the head of the family, deserve to be cherished and celebrated, just like mothers.

Rev. Yirenkyi made this call during a historic 95th birthday celebration organized by Solomon Aniah (SOLANI) and his siblings in honour of their father, Mr. JK Aniah, in Bibiani.

He noted that while people often celebrate their mothers' birthdays in grand style, fathers are frequently neglected.

Rev. Yirenkyi encouraged those who have neglected their fathers due to circumstances to reconsider their decision and show love and appreciation.

He emphasized that fathers are direct sources of life and deserve to be honoured.

During the celebration, Mr. Kwesi Agyemang, a friend and business partner of SOLANI, donated a brand new Honda Accord Sports car to Mr. JK Aniah.

Mr. Agyemang expressed his motivation for the gift, despite not being Mr. Aniah's biological son, and encouraged others to celebrate their fathers.
