Hon. Alfred Obeng-Boateng, Operations Director for Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong’s campaign, engaged in a frank, unfiltered conversation with delegates across major communities in the Atwima Mponua Constituency as part of an intensified grassroots mobilisation ahead of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primary scheduled for January 31, 2026.

The dialogue tour, which took Hon. Obeng-Boateng to Adiembra, Debra Camp, Anyinasa, Anwiafutu, Wansamire, Agogoso, Sreso Tinpom, and OkyereKrom, focused on strengthening support for Ken’s presidential bid, listening to delegate concerns, and reinforcing the campaign’s message of unity, development, and renewal within the party.

As the Director of Operations for Ken’s campaign a key figure responsible for coordinating delegate engagement and strategy across constituencies Hon. Obeng-Boateng stressed the importance of direct engagement and open conversation with delegates ahead of the upcoming contest. His approach, described by many community members as “real and unfiltered,” emphasized transparency, respect for grassroots voices, and the need for strategic unity within the party.

Hon. Obeng-Boateng shared insights on the campaign’s vision, key policy priority areas, and the role delegates play in shaping the future leadership of the NPP.

He called for a united front across all constituencies to secure victory in the internal elections, while acknowledging the unique aspirations of delegates from each community visited.

“We are here not just to ask for support but to listen. These voices from Adiembra to OkyereKrom matter. Every delegate here plays a definitive role in determining the direction of our party and, ultimately, our nation’s future,” Obeng-Boateng stated during a session with delegates in Wansamire.
The engagements come at a time when NPP presidential aspirants are intensifying their outreach to delegates nationwide.

According to political analysts, personal meetings and unguarded conversations like these can be pivotal in securing trust and confidence among the voting bloc ahead of the primaries where candidates like Kennedy Agyapong are positioning themselves as the choice capable of leading the party to reclaim national leadership.

Adiembra Residents and delegates across the Atwima Mponua itinerary expressed appreciation for the tour, saying it fostered a sense of inclusion and helped clarify Ken’s campaign priorities. With the NPP primaries drawing near, such engagements are expected to intensify, laying the groundwork for what parties hope will be a healthy and issue-based internal contest.
