Frontier Oil Ghana Limited Opens New Branch in Bibiani, Brings Jobs and Hope to Residents

Frontier Oil Ghana Limited has officially opened a new branch at Bibiani in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region, a move expected to boost economic activity and create employment opportunities for residents.

The commissioning ceremony attracted traditional authorities, community leaders, company officials, youth groups, and residents who gathered in large numbers to witness the official opening of the new fuel station.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief of Bibiani Kyekyewere and Gyedi, Nana Adasa Nkrumah, expressed gratitude to Frontier Oil Ghana Limited for selecting Bibiani as one of its operational areas.He described the establishment of the station as a significant step toward reducing unemployment in the municipality.

According to the chief, many young people in the area have been struggling to find jobs, and the presence of the company will provide a source of livelihood for several families. He noted that such investments are crucial for community growth and urged other companies to emulate Frontier Oil’s example.

Nana Adasa Nkrumah, however, advised the workers employed by the company to remain honest, disciplined, and committed to their duties. He cautioned them against theft and any form of misconduct that could damage the company’s image or threaten their employment.He emphasized that the opportunity provided by the company should be seen as a privilege and a stepping stone to a better future.

“This initiative has come at the right time. Many young people are unemployed, and this station will provide jobs for our people. I urge all workers to be honest, avoid stealing, and work hard so that the company will have confidence in our community and even expand further,” he said.

The chief also appealed to Frontier Oil Ghana Limited to ensure the consistent supply of quality petroleum products and excellent customer service. He assured the company of the community’s support and cooperation to ensure the success of its operations.

In his speech, the Territory Manager for the Middle Belt of Frontier Oil Ghana Limited, Mr. Lester Myers, expressed appreciation to the traditional authorities and the people of Bibiani for their warm reception. 

He stated that the new branch forms part of the company’s broader expansion strategy aimed at bringing reliable fuel services closer to communities across the country.

Mr. Myers noted that Frontier Oil Ghana Limited is committed to providing quality petroleum products, maintaining high safety standards, and delivering excellent customer service at all its stations.

He further indicated that the company’s operations are not only focused on profit but also on contributing to the socio-economic development of host communities.

“Our presence here is not just about selling fuel. We are also here to create jobs, support the local economy, and build a strong relationship with the community,” he stated.

Mr. Myers added that the company will continue to explore ways of supporting community initiatives and creating more opportunities for local residents as part of its corporate social responsibility.

Some residents who attended the ceremony expressed joy over the establishment of the station, describing it as a major relief and a source of hope for many unemployed youth and women in the area.

According to them, the new station has already created job opportunities for several young people, especially women, who are now working as pump attendants, cashiers, and support staff.

They noted that such employment opportunities will help reduce unemployment, improve household incomes, and promote economic stability within the municipality.

The opening of the Frontier Oil branch is expected to improve access to fuel for motorists, businesses, and residents, while also stimulating commercial activities in Bibiani and its surrounding communities.

With the addition of the new station, residents are optimistic that Bibiani will continue to attract more investments that will drive development and create opportunities for the youth.
