EDUCATION: Nana Baffour Gyau Donates School uniforms to Abofrem Basic School

Nana Baffour Gyau, Asuo Paamuu Komfour has donated school uniforms to Abofrem Anglican basic school in the Atwima Mponua district of the Ashanti Region.

In an interview with the media, Nana Gyau said his house is closer to the school and sometimes when he see some of the students appearance he feels very sad as a native of the Community so he contacted the headmaster of the school for a list of pupils who can be drop out of the school as a result of lack of school uniforms.

He emphasized that it is important for no child to experience exclusion or a sense of inferiority in the presence of their peers due to school uniforms. Consequently, he considers it a significant privilege to support students who he described as both disadvantaged yet talented, as they are the future leaders of the Abofrem Community.

He voice out that this will help to promote school spirit in pupils, a sense of belonging and to enable teachers to identify pupils easily”.

He also urged the pupils to take the studies seriously and respect authorities for a better future.

The headmaster, Mr Emmanuel Asamoah, who received the items on behalf of the school, praised Nana Baffour Gyau Asuo Paamuu Komfour for his kind gesture.

He urged the parents of the pupils who got some of the uniforms to make sure they take proper care of the uniforms and also continue to pray for Nana Gyau because this is not the first time they have received such a donation from him.

He therefore appealed to other natives of the Community and Non- governmental Organisations to assist computers and complete their sanitary facility.
