Council of State Member Michael Aidoo Pays Nomination Fees for All NDC Branch Aspirants, Donates GH¢30,000 to Support Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Branch Elections

The Western North Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and Council of State Member, H.E. Michael Aidoo, popularly known as "Big Aidoo," has demonstrated his unwavering commitment to strengthening the party by paying the nomination and filing fees for all branch executive aspirants in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency.

In addition to covering the nomination fees, H.E. Michael Aidoo donated GH¢30,000 to support the successful organization of the ongoing NDC Branch Executive Elections in the constituency.

Speaking during the presentation, the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency Treasurer, Mr. Tonny Twum Achampong, disclosed that the Constituency Branch Elections Committee had initially approached several individuals and stakeholders for financial support to organize the elections but received no positive response.

According to him, after exhausting other avenues, the committee reached out to H.E. Michael Aidoo, who responded promptly and generously by not only paying the nomination and filing fees for all branch executive aspirants but also providing an additional GH¢30,000 to facilitate the smooth conduct of the elections.

Mr. Tonny Twum Achampong described the gesture as unprecedented and a clear demonstration of the Regional Chairman's dedication to strengthening the party's grassroots structures.

The donation was presented on behalf of H.E. Michael Aidoo by Mr. Richard Aidoo, a Constituency Executive Committee member of the NDC in Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the Constituency Branch Elections Committee, Mr. Tonny Twum Achampong and the Deputy Constituency Secretary, Mr. Seth Gyedu, expressed profound gratitude to H.E. Michael Aidoo for his timely and generous intervention.

They noted that the financial support would significantly ease the burden of organizing the branch elections and ensure that the electoral process is conducted smoothly, peacefully, and successfully.

The constituency executives praised H.E. Michael Aidoo's continuous investment in the welfare of the party and described his contribution as a testament to his commitment to grassroots development and internal democracy within the NDC.
