Bonwire Senior High Technical School Finishes 16th at Ashanti High School Music Fiesta 2026

Bonwire, Ashanti Region – Bonwire Senior High Technical School has secured the 16th position in the 2026 Ashanti High School Music Fiesta after an impressive performance in this year's regional competition.

According to the official final results released after the contest, Bonwire Senior High Technical School scored 174 points, placing 16th among the 32 participating senior high schools from across the Ashanti Region.

The performance is a commendable achievement for the school and reflects the commitment, discipline, and hard work of its students, music tutors, and management throughout the competition.

The Ashanti High School Music Fiesta is an annual event that provides a platform for senior high schools to showcase their musical talents while promoting cultural values, creativity, teamwork, and healthy competition among students.

School authorities have expressed appreciation to the music team, teachers, and all stakeholders whose support contributed to the school's respectable performance. They also encouraged the students to continue working hard to achieve even greater success in future editions of the festival.

The final results saw Tepa Senior High School emerge as the overall winner with 289 points, followed by Wesley High School, Bekwai in second place with 259 points, while Osei Tutu Senior High School finished third with 242 points. Adu Gyamfi Senior High School placed fourth with 236 points, and Kumasi Senior High Technical School rounded out the top five with 232 points.

The Bonwire community, old students, parents, and well-wishers have congratulated the school on its achievement and expressed optimism that the music team will continue to excel in future competitions.
