Bold Police Woman arrested two for siphoning fuel  

A female police officer from the Bibiani District of the Ghana Police Service on Monday 22nd April 2024 single arrested Two men who were siphoning fuel from a Tipper Truck at Oforikrom, a suburb of Bibiani in the Western North Region.

The officer, Chief Inspector Theresa Osei-Owusu Adomako was returning home after work around 4:30 pm when she spotted the two, Eric Azinaba 29,a truck driver of Kuzah Company Limited, Sub Contractors of Mensin Gold Bibiani and his accomplice, Abdul Aziz also 36 a Miner, siphoning fuel from. Tipper Truck with Registration Number GT 7246-22.

On getting closer, she found them siphoning the fuel into four yellow gallons known as “Kufuor Gallons” 

She accosted them and in their defense, they said their employers were aware.

Unconvinced, she asked them to call the said superior to confirm their act, but they couldn’t.

She, however, reached an officer she knows in that company to find out the veracity of their claim, but he denied any knowledge of any such assignment.

The police officer therefore caused their arrest and called for reinforcement to convey them to the police station.

They are in police custody and assisting in investigations.
