SOCIAL : Anglican Diocese Of Sefwi Wiawso Honours Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Former MP For Outstanding Service

The Anglican Diocese of Sefwi Wiawso has honoured the former MP for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai who doubles as the former Western North Regional minister Hon Kingsley Aboagye Gyedu for his outstanding service and contribution to the growth and development of the area and Sefwi Anhwiaso St. John the Baptist Anglican church.

The church with the Bishop’s Barge of Honour and a citation during a special thanksgiving service held at Sefwi Anhwiaso St.John, the Baptist Anglican Church honoured hon Kingsley Aboagy-Gyedu.

Accompanied by some traditional rulers of Sefwi Anhwiaso, family members, party supporters and well-wishers, Hon. Kingsley Aboagy-Gyedu thanked God for His protection, love, and support.

Honour

According to the Parish Priest of the Sefwi Wiawso Diocese, Right-Reverend Kwame Kyem Ampomah, Hon.Aboagye Gyedu had shown leadership in what many men struggle to achieve.

He said the former MP has supported them with Five Hundred bags of cement and pants during the time they were building their mission house.

He said that the church and its membership were pleased to recognize his remarkable achievements and contribution to the Anglican Communion.

Entry into politics

In his response, Hon.Kingsley Aboagye Gyedu expressed his profound gratitude to the church for the honour and recognition as it would bolster him to further deliver leadership that would inspire confidence in the people.

“We must avoid fighting among ourselves in the name of politics but come together to fight against poverty across the constituency to make life bearable for the people,” Hon.Aboagye Gyedu noted.
